Delivered. Confirmed. Paid on arrival.
Here is exactly how delivery works, region by region, from the moment you submit the order form to the moment you pay the courier at your door.
Last updated: 5 June 2026. Issued by Talvena Wellness Ltd, Company No. 14692038, 33 High Street, Bristol, BS1 2AW.
1. Scope of this document
This page explains how we deliver Elderberry Zinc to addresses across the United Kingdom on a pay-on-delivery basis, including estimated timeframes, delivery costs, and what happens if a delivery attempt is unsuccessful. It also explains, in the sections that follow, what personal data we collect specifically for delivery purposes and how that data is handled, since delivery necessarily involves sharing your name and address with our courier partners. It applies to every order confirmed by telephone following submission of the order form on our homepage, and it should be read alongside our Returns Policy, which covers what happens if you wish to cancel after delivery. Where we refer to "we" or "us", we mean Talvena Wellness Ltd, and where we refer to "courier", we mean the delivery partner assigned to your order as described in section 6.
2. Data we collect for delivery purposes
To arrange delivery we collect your full name, delivery address, and telephone number, all of which are confirmed verbally during the confirmation call that follows your order form submission. We may also record any specific delivery instructions you give us, such as a preferred time window, a safe place to leave the parcel, or a request to avoid a particular day. This information is passed only to the courier assigned to your parcel and to our internal order management system, and is not used for any purpose beyond arranging and completing your delivery and, where applicable, allowing the courier to collect payment from you. We do not request or store payment card details online at any point in the delivery process, since payment on delivery is made directly to the courier in cash or by card at your door.
3. Legal basis for processing delivery data
We process your delivery data on the basis that it is necessary for the performance of the contract formed once your order is confirmed by telephone, since we cannot deliver Elderberry Zinc to you without your address and a means of contacting you if the courier needs assistance locating you. Any additional delivery instructions you provide are also processed on this contractual basis, as they help ensure successful delivery on the first attempt. Where we retain aggregated, anonymised statistics about delivery performance across regions, such as average delivery times, this is done on the basis of our legitimate interest in monitoring and improving our service.
4. Retention periods for delivery and order records
Delivery records, including the address used and the outcome of each delivery attempt, are retained for six years from the end of the relevant financial year, in line with the retention period applied to order records generally under the Companies Act 2006 and HM Revenue and Customs guidance. Specific delivery instructions that are no longer relevant, such as a request tied to a one-off event, are not retained beyond the order to which they relate unless you place a further order and ask us to reuse them. Any recorded telephone confirmation call is retained for the same six-year period as the underlying order, since it evidences the contract terms agreed with you.
5. Your rights regarding delivery data
You have the rights described in full in our Privacy Policy in relation to delivery data, including the right to ask us to correct an inaccurate address before dispatch, and the right to request a copy of the delivery data we hold about a past order. Because delivery data is closely tied to fulfilling a contractual obligation, requests for erasure may be limited where we are required to retain records for the statutory periods described in section 4, but we will explain clearly which parts of your request we can and cannot fulfil and why. To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected] or telephone +44 117 289 4607 during office hours.
6. Third-party couriers and processors we use
Depending on your delivery region, your order will be dispatched using one of our national courier partners, currently Royal Mail Group Ltd, DPD UK, or Evri Parcelnet Ltd, each of which receives only the name, address, and telephone number necessary to complete delivery and, where applicable, to collect payment from you on our behalf. Confirmation calls and any SMS delivery updates are handled through Twilio Ireland Limited, our telephony and messaging processor. Each courier and processor is contractually required to handle your data securely and to use it solely for the purpose of completing your delivery, and none of them is authorised to contact you for any purpose unrelated to the parcel in question.
7. Cookies used on this page
This delivery information page uses the same cookies as the rest of talvena.world: the strictly necessary talvena_session and talvena_consent cookies, and, if you have given consent, the Google Analytics 4 cookies _ga, _ga_ prefixed, and _gid, which help us understand which delivery information visitors find most useful. No delivery-specific tracking cookies are set on this page beyond those described in our Cookie Policy, and no marketing cookies are currently active anywhere on the site. You can review or change your cookie choices at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
8. International transfers
Delivery is currently offered only to addresses within the United Kingdom, and delivery data is processed and stored on infrastructure located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area by our named couriers. Where our messaging processor, Twilio Ireland Limited, or our website host, Vercel Inc., transfers data outside the UK for technical or resilience reasons, an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK data protection law is required to be in place, consistent with the approach described in section 9 of our Privacy Policy. We do not currently offer international delivery outside the United Kingdom.
9. UK delivery regions, timeframes and costs
Delivery timeframes vary slightly by region due to the geography served by our courier network, and the table below sets out our current estimates, which are provided in good faith based on typical courier performance but are not estimated delivery dates. All timeframes are calculated in working days, meaning Monday to Friday and excluding bank holidays in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland as applicable to the delivery address. We review these estimates periodically against actual courier performance and update this table if timeframes change materially.
| Region | Estimated delivery | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| London and South East | 1–2 working days | £2.99 |
| Midlands and East of England | 2–3 working days | £2.99 |
| North of England | 2–4 working days | £2.99 |
| Scotland | 3–5 working days | £3.99 |
| Wales | 2–4 working days | £2.99 |
| Northern Ireland | 4–6 working days | £4.99 |
| Highlands and Islands | 4–7 working days | £5.99 |
Delivery times are estimates and may vary during busy periods. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
10. The pay-on-delivery process, step by step
Once you submit the order form, one of our team will telephone you, usually within one working day, to confirm your name, address and the price payable, and to answer any questions you have before anything is dispatched. After you confirm verbally that you wish to proceed, your order is handed to the assigned courier and dispatched within 1 to 2 working days, and you will typically receive a text message or call from the courier ahead of delivery to arrange a convenient time. When the courier arrives, you pay them directly using cash or a card payment terminal carried by the driver, and no payment is taken or requested at any earlier stage of the process. This structure means you never enter card details on talvena.world and never pay anything until the parcel is physically in front of you.
11. Failed deliveries and re-attempts
If nobody is available to accept the parcel and provide payment at the scheduled time, the courier will normally leave a card with instructions for rescheduling or collecting the parcel from a local depot or collection point, depending on the courier used. We will attempt to contact you by telephone or text message to arrange a second delivery attempt at a more convenient time, and there is no additional charge for a reasonable number of re-attempts within a normal collection window. If a parcel remains uncollected or undelivered after multiple attempts, it will be returned to us, your order will be treated as cancelled, and no payment will be taken, since payment is only ever collected at the point of successful delivery.
12. Complaints procedure and contact
If your delivery does not arrive within the estimated timeframe for your region, or if you experience any other issue with the courier assigned to your order, please contact us at [email protected] or telephone +44 117 289 4607, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30, quoting the telephone number used when you placed your order. We aim to acknowledge delivery complaints within 2 working days and to provide an update or resolution within 5 working days, which may involve chasing the courier directly or arranging a replacement dispatch where appropriate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you retain the right to raise a broader consumer complaint as described in our Returns Policy and Terms of Use.
13. Revision history
We review this delivery information periodically against actual courier performance and update the regional timeframes and costs shown in section 9 if they change materially. Substantive updates to this page are logged below, including changes to our courier partner network or to the pay-on-delivery process itself. Minor wording clarifications that do not affect delivery timeframes, costs, or your rights may not always be individually logged.
